In a painful year for the earth, she focuses her energy toward writing and soon finds artwork that represents 2020, called, “The Apple Of Discord.” In hopes to contain the spread of Covid19, she feels humanity’s struggle with real and imaged; physical and mental confinement. The album shares songs about the misdirected affections of human nature toward the pull of industry, efficiency, and dealing with disappointment. Her songs are unique to the core; digging out the upside of the situation of the virus; finding time with oneself, with nature, and finding a new normal for everyday.
    The feature track, “Please Dear Sun” is ultimately a gospel song which satisfies the sadness and disappointments of 2020. The artwork was created by Amy Abts and is called, "The Apple Of Discord." Eris is the goddess of strife and discord. She shows up in Homer's Odyssey as the one who indirectly starts the Trojan War. Sleeping Beauty is based on a story about her and so is the Snow White quote, "To the fairest!" 2020 has been a series of challenges for humanity; and in order to evolve we have had to take our eyes off the myth of perfection and control and refocus our gaze on true contentment within faith, the beauty of just being, and accepting challenges as the a gift.
